This policy explains what information Outdoor Project Planner (“we”, “us”) handles when you use this website. The site is operated from Spain. You can contact us at makeitonline9@gmail.com.
Calculations stay in your browser
All planners run locally in your web browser. The measurements, settings and optional prices you type are processed on your device and are not sent to the website owner. There are no accounts, no forms that send data to a server, and no uploads.
Information stored on your device
The site can use your browser’s local storage to remember:
- your choice of Imperial or Metric units; and
- the last project you planned in each planner (measurements and changed settings, but never prices), so you can come back to it.
This information stays in your browser. You can remove a saved project with the “Start over” button on the planner, or clear it at any time in your browser settings. The site still works if local storage is blocked.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any website host, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the service against abuse. The site itself does not add its own logging of this information.
Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show ads and measure their performance, which may include personalized ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and manage ad personalization in My Ad Center.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google’s consent message before cookies or identifiers are used for personalized advertising. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy and cookie settings link shown on the site.
Analytics
The site does not currently use analytics.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because the planners do not send your data to us, we generally hold no personal information about you unless you email us.
If you are in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you these rights. To use them, email us. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message, and we use them only to reply and to fix the issue you report. We keep these emails only as long as needed for that, and then delete them.
Children
This site is a general-audience planning tool and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we change advertising settings. The date at the top shows the latest version.
